God also through His word gives us direction for our lives, helps us have better relationships and do our work purposefully. No time spent in God’s word is wasted. God speaks to us through His word so be sure to spend some time with your Creator on a daily basis.
- Eat a healthy breakfast. You have had the saying, “A hungry man is an angry man.” How true this is. We can almost do nothing on an empty stomach but when we have had a nutritious breakfast we have the energy to start our day on a high note. Do not skip breakfast.
- Practice gratitude with a gratitude journal.
We are living in such difficult and unpredictable times and it is often hard to see anything good to be grateful for. However, because God is good, there is always good and it is now up to us to find the good that already exists. At the end of each day, take out your gratitude journal and note down what you are grateful for, this is guaranteed to lift up your spirits and help you have a positive outlook on life. In as much as we look forward to better days, we must also appreciate where we currently are.
